License FAQs
Can I use Blush illustrations for free, or do I need a Pro Plan?
You don't need a Pro Plan to use Blush illustrations in your projects, and the license applies to everyone. That means that you can use Blush illustrations for personal and commercial purposes, totally free. The Blush Pro Plan simply unlocks higher quality PNG downloads, SVG downloads and a few additional illustration packs.
Can I use Blush illustrations for personal and commercial projects?
The illustrations on Blush are free to use and can be used for most projects. For more information about limitations, review our license page.
Do I need to give attribution?
You do not need to ask permission from or provide credit to the artist or Blush, although it is appreciated when possible!
Can I use illustrations after I cancel my Pro plan?
Yes, you're free to use illustrations that you create for as long as you want, even after your subscription has ended. Keep in mind once your subscription ends, you will no longer be able to use Blush to customize the high-quality SVG/large PNGs without restarting a subscription.
Can I use an illustration as my logo?
You can use Blush's illustrations on your branding, marketing, and social media as much as you'd like.
However, you can't trademark a Blush illustration, since that's already under Blush's license. If you're just looking for something temporary, and you don't care about trademarking your logo, then you can, in theory, use an illustration as your logo.
We do not recommend Blush illustrations for logo use.
What are "on-demand services," and why are they not allowed by the Blush License?
Legal terminology about licensing can be difficult to understand - we know first hand! The "on-demand services" in our license are quite different from what we commonly think when we hear the term, such as video-on-demand or delivery on-demand services.
In essence, the Blush License does not allow people to use illustrations from Blush to replicate a similar or competing service, and "on-demand services" refer only to services specific to the illustrations themselves. This means no one other than the licensee (that's you!) may customize a digital or physical end product made from Blush illustrations, whether for commercial or non-commercial use. This includes, but is not limited to, “print on demand,” “made to order” or “download on-demand” applications. Basically, you may not create a template or other customizable product which end users (your customers, users or clients) customize themselves before ordering/downloading.
To clarify, Blush designs can be used in such end products as a delivery service website or application, streaming video, social media posts and more! If you have more questions, you can email us at [email protected].
